I think there's another way to do this by using a simple one way resistor set up across the pairs. Allowing the signals to combine, but preventing the signal from going back to the amplifier.

Been a long time since I've seen it done, so I really can't remember the requirements.

And there's always the dual voice coil speakers....

Ill add to the question.

Is there a way to use a zone 2 output of an AVR to run 1 pair of STEREO speakers (1 room) AND 2 more mono speakers (2 more/seperate rooms)?

We just took on this job, that is wired for stereo in 1 room, and mono in the other 2 rooms, with no way to run more wire. Customer doesnt need/want the expense of a full DA system. Just wants to use zone 2 for the speakers/zones he currently has wired.

Is this possible without running more wire, while still utilizing a Marantz AVR zone 2 output?

(They were previosuly sending stereo to the stereo (1st) room, and Left channel to the 2nd room, Right channel to the 3rd room. wired in parallel, using "speaker B")
