i like that it has pandora on it...i don't think it has a remote or IR. i ordered one today.

It seems like a fun idea but typically geeky in being a solution in search of a problem. To be honest a lot of what it's trying to be as an open source platform we did a while back at Slim Devices by making SlimServer open source . . and it was never embraced by the installer community (although that may have been our fault).

Isn't this ad based too? I thought they subsidize the cost of the unit by having ads on it. That is what turned me off. I see enough ads everywhere I look.

i have pandora on my samsung bd-p1600 and use it alot...i have heard only 1 ad the entire time. 1 ad for 15 hrs give or take a week is ok with me...much better than off air radio or paying for xm. now, if i could only get pandora in my service van...

where i live, my mobile phone doesn't work half the time when i try to talk on it...it takes pic, plays music, text, email, etc, but i can't talk on it when i need to...

I actually have a Chumby that I purchased awhile ago. It's sitting in my desk cabinet for the past year or so. Yes, it was cool the way it has widgets, but now with iphones who has the time for that?
