Other than typing out a word document, do you use a form, perhaps an excel spreadsheet when you document a client's network gear? As AVRs, BDPs, iPod docks, keypads and everything under the sun connects to the network, I see a need to have consistency in documentation.
Was going to work out an excel sheet but thought one of you might have already invented that wheel.

tom i may have one.... it will be from my old company that set up wireless networks and it will be a pdf file... i just gotta find it..... give me a few hours....
if not a simple doc or exl file will work just fine.
typically i will leave that list on site in a safe location with a sheet for sevice calls as well..... and have the computer copy well, in the computer....

Not too mission critical is it?? Moving to verified is OK by me if you prefer.

I do and use it on every job where we set-up the network. We have a standard address range for items like office gear, AV gear, DHCP clients, control systems etc.
