I'm looking for a list of every last one of Directv's channels and their respective transponders. Specifically, I've got a client that uses the Philipino (don't correct me on spelling; she tells me Ph or F is equally correct!) channels, somewhere in the 2200's or so. We're having a bear of a time getting this system working lately, where it had been working before. I've invested in the Sencore sat meter, but would like a list of transponders/channels/sats to take to the site to try and get this straight. Anyone have access to a current, complete list?

Thanks...

A simple search on Google got me this:

Yep, I saw that as well. There are no 4 digit channels on that list. Also, a funny thing; I could only get one page of that list to print.

I used to have one years ago, back when I used to get the "free" channels. Even if I could find it, it would be outdated with no international, 4 digit channels, etc.

I looked on the dealer site, and I didnt see anything. My dish dealer site does have one, but I cant find one on the DTV site.

Shouldnt you only need the SATELLITE the phili channels are coming in on? If nothing else, you CAN (I have done this) call DTV and have them go through the list of ACTIVE transponders on a particular satellite. Ive had to do this when t-shooting HDTV birds, etc. I realize you wont know WHICH transponder is for channel "X", but Im assuming you want them all working anyway. Chances are if theres a problem, you have odds but not even, or vise versa. (Unless you have a rare cable problem, etc)

If you cant get the list, email me and Ill either call DTV or give you my dealer # and the DTV dealer ph#.

Thanks, Frank. I'm an authorized DTV dealer, and perhaps made a mistake by leaving a message with my rep (what was I thinking, anyway?). Your advice about asking for active transponders is good, and I'll see if I can get that from tech support today. If I get any useful information I'll post it here.

Well, now, that's pretty cool. I'll look around in there and see what is to be seen.

I have customers in Florida who get those same channels. You must have a dish pointed at the 72.5 sat. You must also have the 6 input switch with 2 of the inputs being flex ports. You must also have a receiver that recognizes the 72.5 sat. If it is DVR, it can take a while for it to download the updated sattellite information. It takes up to a day when I do them. If you have just put in a new receiver, It may need to do this update. The channels you need are on the 72.5 sat. I also use lyngsat, and if you search the 72.5, you will see that DIRECTV uses all of the transponders on that sat. I have gotten thr transponder for a channel by tuning to that channel, then going into the menu, check the signal strength and the box will be tuned to the current transponder you were trying to receive before entering the nenu. If you cant tune to the channel you want, the system is notsetup properly. I went to DIRECTV and found this link for you, try these channels.

They start at 2060 and up.
