For those looking for a modular way to distribute IR wiring, speaker wiring, or any 1 to 4 wire wiring - cheaply. Take a look at these:

It's a box with lid, openings on all 4 sides with rubber grommets, comes with screws. Feels very soild and the speaker wire version accepts 14ga wire but I don't know if you would want to try and cram 12ga into it.

If your signed up as a dealer with partsexpress, your cost savings is significant - making it a nice cheap alternative to some of the other expensive solutions I've seen.

Thanks Brad,

Those look like a good solution when space is tight, I have been using the
Xantech CB18 parallel connecting strip or
Crestrons and AMX's version of the Xantech

I used to live about 20 mins fron the warehouse, and they had lots of cool stuff. I just remember the "dealer" cost not being all that great however. Wholesale verses retail was not a huge dealm and actually still seemed more mostly than a lot of my other suppliers.

This was back in my 12v days however, so maybe it was different than the A/V CI side.

I have a problem buying from a company who also sells at a very discounted retail. I haven't bought from them or Worthington for those reasons.
