Some great work in here!
I am glad to hear that at least one existing Rackmaster is going to be posting new work!!
As for any other Rackmasters from previous years, it goes without saying that we want to see your latest builds.

Here is one we recently finished. We were encouraged by the home owner who insisted on custom cabinetry with 3 middle Atlantic pull out racks and all patch panels and accessories in upper cabinets. This is showcased on the main floor of the home in a closet room.
Crestron DM, Adagio audio distribution, couple dedicated 5.1 rooms.
Pics from phone. Need to get more pics of this one...

Nice work....what company are you with?
Two things.
1. are we posting fronts, fronts & back or just back?
2. Paul you are a fucking genius. Never thought of just using a big shelf or tall rack mount piece to hold up some small rails for tiny places like this. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

This is what I'm doing these days. This is a control console for a new effect for the RCMH NY Spectacular. This plus the rack next to it control 15 servo motors that turn a huge rig moving LCD screens around/up/down/in/out etc... Running and dressing wire was a refreshing change...

I hope this isn't double posted... This a control panel to move a large piece of scenery with several TV screens in it on stage at RCMH. I've spent most of the last two weeks on this and its larger brother (just visible in the fourth photo) with the actual Servo Control Drives in it.

You or Gary need to change this to an 'unmoderated' thread. Only moderators can see the posts... I've been approving posts, but I'm busy and can't keep up. Saw your Facebook status and came back to the thread, just approve the last 10 or so posts...

It was never set up in any special way... I will have to see what is different than any other thread that I created.
That explains why Norm is sending me PMs that are not making sense to me (sorry Norm!)

Technically it's still a tv mount... I'll get some pictures when it comes together.:)
So if it isn't too late, here is one we finished up recently. This was a 6,000 square foot private residence in an exclusive high-rise tower. Had all of the usual high-rise building problems, restrictions, etc.4428442944304431Project was about 98% complete at this point so the pictures reflect that - missing final labels, missing a couple of blank covers, etc.
Here are some pics of the backs of the racks.44334434443544364437
And lastly, all monitors on this project got Chief mounts and cans. None of them will ever be pulled out by the client. We just did it for servicing and for a place to put all of the black boxes!4438

Here are a couple of pics of the 'tv mount' that the console above will control. Still in the early stages, but imagine that the top rotates, there's a bottom that rotates as well. Each individual screen comes in and out as well as goes up and down and rotates 90 deg. I think it's going to be really cool even if I don't get what it's supposed to be. When it goes on stage picture Rockettes all over it.

I'm not a fucking genius, I've just been doing this so fucking long that I've have had time to figure stuff out! :)
Here's a better example that shows a little more gear. Usually a 3-5U shelf or a multichannel rack mount amp is enough to anchor the bottom and then just use some cut down rails on the front.
This job was a quick 1-day upgrade to Sonos so it's just a 12ch amp, zone players and power conditioner. The cabinet wasn't deep enough for a real rack... had to use right angle connectors on the RCAs and the amp binding posts pushed right up to the back of the cabinet. This was made on the fly with parts I had laying around.
