Seymour-Screen Excellence has appointed Sage AV Solutions -- led by president John Savali (formerly of Stewart) and principal Lisa Love -- to rep TX, OK, AK, LA. The timing is ideal as this year’s CEDIA Expo takes place in the heart of Sage’s territory (Dallas, TX) and the company’s A.T. and ALR film screens can be seen in theater demos at Wisdom Audio, Steinway-Lyngdorf, Ascendo Immersive Audio, Wolf Cinema and MSE Audio.

Additionally, from within its own booth (#4454), S-SE and partners CDGi and Datasat will present an elaborate DTS:X® 9.4.4 and Dolby Atmos® theater demo featuring TAM-1T, the channel’s first single-masked (motorized) A.T. film screen (achieves constant width across 3 aspect ratios). The demo will also cover engineering a theater for acoustics as well as aesthetics.

Ames, IA – August 25, 2016 – Leading high-end acoustically transparent and ambient light-rejecting film screen technologies brand Seymour-Screen Excellence has appointed Sage AV Solutions to cover Texas, Oklahoma Arkansas and Louisiana. The appointment became effective August 1, 2016.

“Our signing with Seymour-Screen Excellence comes at the perfect time given this year’s CEDIA Expo takes place in our backyard,” says Sage AV Solutions President John Savali. “Having previously worked for Stewart Filmscreen as a Senior Systems Specialist, I know the film screen category well and am ‘blown away’ by the innovative designs, performance, and fit-and-finish that Seymour-Screen Excellence brings to the table. I am eager for my dealers to see this line up-close and personal. We anticipate a huge show for us and Seymour-Screen Excellence.”

At Expo, Seymour-Screen Excellence is unveiling its TAM-1T, a single-masked, motorized A.T. film screen that uses a single top-drop down mask approach to achieve constant image width across 3 aspect ratios (an industry-first). The screen will take center stage in a DTS:X® 9.4.4 and Dolby Atmos® theater demo room located in Seymour-Screen Excellence’s booth (#4454) along with partners CDGi and Datasat. Part of the emphasis of the presentation will be on engineering a theater for acoustics as well as aesthetics. The demos will be conducted throughout all 3 days of the Expo (September 15-17).

A variety of Seymour-Screen Excellence’s A.T. and ALR screens will be featured in the following home theater demos located throughout the Expo show floor:
1. The Wisdom Audio (Booth #4742) demo is featuring S-SE’s .98 gain Enlightor-4K A.T. screen in 2.37 aspect ratio at 160-inches wide (S-SE model # RF160HD-4K).
2. Steinway-Lyngdorf (Omni Hotel: Deep Ellum B, High-Performance Audio Room) will showcase S-SE’s Enlightor4K in 16:9 at 120-inches wide (S-SE model RF120HD-4K).
3. Ascendo Immersive Audio (SoundRoom #19) is showing S-SE’s Enlightor4K A.T. screen at 140-inches wide in 2.37 (S-SE model RF140WS-4K).
4. Wolf Cinema / RBH (Sound Room #3) is using S-SE’s high-contrast 1.2 Black ambient light-rejecting screen (S-SE model Ambient-Visionaire 3F100HD-AV12). The contrast that S-SE’s ALR surface and Wolf projectors together achieve is unprecedented.
5. MSE Audio (Induction Dynamics) (Sound Room #8) is showing S-SE’s Radiant White screen in its Series3 frame at 120-inches wide in 16:9 (S-SE model 3F120HD-RW).
