Mol, BELGIUM – September 7, 2016 – StormAudio announces that its full suite of Immersive Sound Processors (ISP) now support the DTS:X™ 3D audio codec as a standard feature, making the line one of very few compatible with all existing and future leading sound formats, including Dolby Atmos®, DTS:X™ and Auro-3D®.
DTS:X is one of the major formats when it comes to immersive sound in the home cinema space and delivers truly captivating entertainment experiences in home theaters by accurately conveying the fluid movement of sound to create a richer entertainment soundscape than has previously been possible. This object-based 3D audio sound format places sound where it would occur naturally in space, creating a life-like multi-dimensional audio experience. DTS:X technology offers the ability to adapt the audio to the speaker layout that best fits the individual space, by seamlessly transporting sound objects to and through specific locations within the viewing environment – in front of, behind, above and beside the audience.
StormAudio’s line consists of 16- and 32-channel immersive sound processors and amplifiers. The addition of DTS:X further solidifies StormAudio’s prowess in the immersive audio category. Other contributing factors include its compatibility with all three sound formats; system scalability and
