We have talked about surge protection preferences in the other post, how about UPS. I would certainly hope that those of you doing Crestron or AMX use them, any favourites, and failures?

The SMAART_UPS line has a RS-232 port and Crestron has a module at:

I have specified the new Panamax UPS in a theater project I hope to start in about a months time. Pretty cool with RS232 and IR output. I need to get one for my house too.

The APC RS-232 protocol is much better than the Panamax. IMHO
