Has anyone had any luck with the Rear Remote control input on the back of the Denon receivers with an IR system. I was going to give it a try hooking it up to a MRF300 at the end of this month and was wondering if anyone had got them to work. Thanks.

Mike are you sure the MRF-300 is going to be out by that time? :(

I was told so long ago this base would be out soon. I can't wait till it is, haven't had a chance to check as i've been locked up on 1 big project for awhile. Any dates to look forward to?

Has anyone had any luck plugging a wire from a xantech connecting block the the Remote In on the back of the Denon Receivers?

Hey Mike, I have a 3805 installed with a ir connection from a MRF250 into the back of the Denon and it works 100%. Can't imagine it wont work with the 300. I have 10 300s on order. Are they in yet? LOL!

I am tired of waiting for the 300 too. I am going to disect a 250 here shortly to see how easy it will be to modify. I will let you know how it goes.

I was told 2 weeks on the MRF300 by URC! That means it will probably be out in April. :( I did hook up a Xantech connecting block to the back of the Denon AVR3805, and it did work. THanks again.

Hey Mike, I forget, can you go direct from a MRF emitter out to a Xantech connecting block in?

TIA.

yeah, i know that, i was wondering if the Remote Control Room to Room port on the back of the Denon receiver would wok like an IR input. Hooked it up yesterday and it does work!
