I saw this thing in action at InfoComm, and now it's in the "new products" section of the July '07 Residential Systems mag (on page 56).

These things are AWESOME, and wrap up extension cords, electrician's pull rope/string, and any loose wire at the end of a spool (or when a box comes apart)...

Just in winding up the extension cords at the end of the day, I would expect that this thing could pick up a hour or two each week in productive time on a jobsite...

I am a tool guy who HATES cheap, sh%tty tools... and I was very impressed by this thing.
Runs on 6 D cells...

Anyone got one??

Kinda cool, but how practical is it for what we do? Price?

doesnt seem practical, other than for ext cords
