Sirius tuner like Polk tuner?

Anyone besides Antex ($$) make a Sirius tuner like the Polk XM tuner that has control capabilities? I looked on their site, I found a Sirius branded one, and Audiovox, and the Antex but I only need 1 tuner not 3. I didn't see any information concerning integration into a control system/distributed audio system.

Wait, I take that back. The Audiovox says it has a 232 port. Anyone have any experience with this? Fred?

Kenwwod makes one with discreet IR. DT7000 ???
I believe it had a 232 port, but can't remember.
It kind of looks like a spaceship too.
But, it did work very well!

We have used the kenwoods, They have discrete IR and RS-232. Both work well. I just wish it was an standard box and not a spaceship.

I saw the Kenwood one too but the non-standard shape and the fact that it was a Kenwood scared me a little. As long as the discretes work and/or the serial then it will work fine. Middle Atlantic even has an RSH shelf for it amazingly enough.

Anyone have experience with the Audiovox one?

Antex has one now that is shipping. A single zone model with RS-232 with bi-directional capabilities. Doesn't look pretty, but not spacey either, like the kenwood. The Antex XM radio model is the XM-100. ADI has it. Look in the protected area- I posted the price to Gary.
I have just put one in, and it works fine. Stereo output as well as mono. No video. Antex will sell you a custom cut rack shelf for about $40
I did not use Rs-232 in this install.

Directed has one - I've been waiting - oh - about 12 weeks. What a PIA. Its should be here by Tuesday next week. I'll let you know. They are available to Def Tech dealers too. They sell at Crutchfield for $269.

1. Anybody have the 232's for the Kenwood Sirius tuner they'd be so kind as to email? I thought I'd received these before but cannot locate them on the ol' PC.

Seriously, its just an avatar I pilfered off another forum I belong to. If I actually had somebody that looked like that in my real life, do you honestly think I'd be on here as much as I am? It seemed only fitting. Two of my biggest passions wrapped into one picture. A/V and women. Now if only I could figure out a way to play with them BOTH on a daily basis :?
