IC Realtime Launches Next Generation of I-Sniper Cameras New chipset delivers unprecedented levels of nighttime video surveillance performance Pompano Beach, FL – October 17, 2016 – CEDIA channel leader IC Realtime has raised-the-bar for nighttime video surveillance performance by way of its new-and-improved I-Sniper camera line. Available in dome, bullet and pan/tilt/zoom styles, the models integrate the latest in light-gathering technology. Cameras are available in both IP and HD over coax technology (HDAVS). Eight models exist in total with MSRP ranging from $898 to $6,398 each depending type and options. The complete line is shipping now. According to IC Realtime General Manager Andrew Nassar, I-Sniper achieves levels of nighttime vision clarity and performance never before possible. The camera’s employ what Nassar calls “a massive 1-2/8-inch CMOS sensor” which achieves higher-levels of light-gathering, enabling them to remain in color-mode for a longer lengths of time. Nassar says this produces more usable surveillance video than that of competitors’ nighttime camera offerings.

Seymour-Screen Excellence (Booth #4454) has its best ever CEDIA planned. At this week's show in Dallas, this luxury made-in-the-USA film screen manufacturer has partnered with Cinema Design Group and Datasat to demonstrate what is being billed as “The Grand DTS:X® 9.4.4 and Dolby Atmos® demo,” including a press conference with DTS on Friday. Additionally, S-SE’s film screens will also be featured in theater demos by Wisdom Audio, Steinway-Lyngdorf, Ascendo Immersive, Wolf Cinema / RBH and MSE Audio. Immersive Theater Demo CDGi is building a theater complete with acoustic balancing and DataSat's famous room calibration capabilities within S-SE’s booth (#4454). Taking center stage is S-SE’s brand-new TAM-1T, the industry’s first A.T. film screen that utilizes a single motorized A.T. masking system. Its top, drop-down approach delivers constant screen image-width across any aspect ratio without the need for a lower mask. This represents a price reduction of 30% from the TAM-2TB dual-masked system. Amplification, processing and calibration for the demo is provided by DataSat with loudspeakers courtesy of Induction Dynamics. Video hardware is provided by Kaleidescape, with a Sony projector gracing a 105-inch wide (120"d) Enlightor-4K in 16:9. During the presentation, we’ll be demonstrating the TAM-1T masking to accommodate the different Dolby Atmos and DTS:X clips. Part of the emphasis of the presentation will be on engineering a theater for acoustics as well as aesthetics. The demos will be conducted throughout all 3 days of the Expo. Below is a rendering of the demo theater. Naturally an assortment of S-SE's frames and screen surfaces will be hung throughout their booth (#4454), along with the True Aspect Masking 4-way screen with Enlightor-4K material. A variety of SSE's Enlightor, Ambient-Visionaire and Radiant screens can be seen in demos by the following leading audio and video brands:

S-SE’s TAM-1T is an acoustically-transparent (A.T.) film screen that utilizes a single motorized A.T. masking system. Its top drop-down approach makes it possible to maintain a constant screen width across three different aspect ratios – and without the need for a lower mask. This is an industry-first. TAM-1T also represents a cost savings of approximately 30% from that of the company’s popular TAM-2TB dual-masking film screen. At the 2016 CEDIA Expo, TAM-1T will take center stage in an immersive theater demonstration hosted by S-SE, CDGi and Datasat featuring Dolby Atmos and DTS-X content. Ames, IA – September 15, 2016 – Seymour-Screen Excellence -- the made-in-the-USA brand best known for its luxurious, reference-grade 4K acoustically transparent (A.T.) film screens -- will tap the 2016 CEDIA Expo (booth #4454) to unveil its TAM-1T fixed-frame, single-masked, A.T. film screen. An industry-first, TAM-1T utilizes a top drop-down mask approach to achieve motorized switching between any aspect ratio from 1.78 to 2.4. (The width of the viewing area remains constant while the height can vary to match the required aspect ratio.) Starting at $8,200 MSRP, the TAM-1T is the company’s most cost-efficient motorized masking film screen solution to date, and leverages its leadership position in the category. The TAM-1T is built on the same luxurious Reference Series frame as the other TAM (True Aspect Masking) models (TAM-2 and TAM-4). The Reference Series border is the category’s thinnest (3.7-inches wide), and is finished in the company’s Infinite Black™ Velvet light-absorbing material, expertly framing the image. The masking assembly motor boasts ultra-quiet, smooth operation and is neatly concealed behind the screen. In total the screen occupies a mere 5.8-inches from the wall.
