Wolf Cinema, Seymour-Screen Excellence, Dynaudio and AudioControl Join Forces to Create Stunning Home Theater Demos at CES 2018 Las Vegas, NV – December 28, 2017 – Wolf Cinema, Seymour-Screen Excellence, Dynaudio and AudioControl are coming together to present the very latest in UHD/4K home theater acoustic and visual excellence at CES 2018 (Venetian Towers, Suite #29-103). To combat the lighter-colored walls and ceilings of the hotel suite, Wolf Cinema and Seymour-Screen Excellence are pulling out all the stops to deliver an eye-popping performance. Wolf Cinema is demonstrating their latest 4K laser/phosphor-driven projector, the model TXF-5000. The projector boasts Blu-escent™ technology that incorporates 48 blue laser modules plus dedicated imaging phosphors with 3200 ANSI lumens of peak white performance. “The TXF-5000 achieves breathtakingly lifelike images with extended color accuracy plus deep inter-scene black renditions that approach the very limits of today’s testing equipment, making it THE choice for discriminating enthusiasts,” says Wolf Cinema Sales Director Jim McGall. Seymour-Screen Excellence will complement the projector with its Ambient-Visionaire Black 1.2, an ultra-high-contrast ambient light-rejecting film screen outfitted in its new 1.5-inch wide border (Series-1) in scope format at 130-inches wide. Seymour-Screen Excellence will also show a bias lighting kit it has in development. Where today’s lighting kits emit bold colors on the wall that contaminate the video experience, the Seymour-Screen Excellence kit can be tuned to compensate for the wall color to achieve the proper 6500K color, and is ideal for making HDR and high-brightness viewing less fatiguing. MSRP for the screen and light kit is $5,140 and $490 respectively. Dynaudio and AudioControl are providing the sound for this all-star demo. Featured in a 5.2 arrangement will be Dynaudio’s Contour 30 floor standing speakers (MSRP $7,500 pair), Contour 25C center ($3,500)...

Seymour-Screen Excellence Appoints Todd Sutherland to Rep So. Cal. and Hawaii Ames, IA – August 29, 2017 – Reference, made-in-the-USA film screen manufacturer Seymour-Screen Excellence today announced the appointment of Todd Sutherland as its Southern California sales rep. Earlier this year, Todd was appointed to represent Seymour-Screen Excellence in Northern California. Now he will maintain and build both West Coast territories for the brand. Sutherland developed a strong appreciation for Seymour-Screen Excellence during his previous sales management role with Wisdom Audio. He worked with integrators on a number of installs and was often involved with the system calibrations where different brand’s acoustically transparent screens were used. “It was there that I learned of the distinct audio and visual performance advantages of using Seymour-Screen Excellence,” says Sutherland. After departing Wisdom Audio and creating his own independent manufacturer sales rep firm Sutherland AV Marketing, Todd expressed a desire to work with Seymour-Screen Excellence wherever he felt he could bring value. To this, in February 2017, Seymour-Screen Excellence appointed Todd to represent the brand in Northern California. “We are now pleased to announce Todd’s appointment for Southern California and Hawaii too,” says Managing Director Chris Seymour. “All these markets are very important to Seymour-Screen Excellence and we look forward to working with Todd and dealers to increase our market share and deliver amazing results for our mutual clients.”
