Utilizing their latest technologies at ISE 2016, Triad and Auro’s Hardware Division will demonstrate how integrators can now deliver the newest, most impressive 3D audio experiences to their clientele. Portland, OR – January 28, 2016 – At ISE 2016 (stand 5-R100) audio innovators Triad Speakers and Auro Technologies’ Home Entertainment & Luxury Audio Product Division will jointly demonstrate a variety of immersive audio formats including Auro-3D and Dolby Atmos. The audio system will feature Triad’s Gold Monitor loudspeakers along with the Auro GalaxisAudio MENSA Sound Processor and StormAudio Class D Audio Multi-Channel Power Amplifiers. “Whether it’s a movie or virtual reality gaming, today consumers are enjoying more and more options to be entertained on an immersive level,” says Triad Speakers International Sales Director Mike Budd. “While traditional surround does a great job of enveloping the listener, it’s limited to a horizontal plane, making it a thing of the past. So it makes sense that now in the world of home cinema, 3D audio is where it’s at, as it creates another level of realism.” “The icing-on-the-cake is that with our processors and Triad’s height channel-enabled loudspeakers, immersive audio can be achieved with both Auro-3D, Dolby Atmos and non-3D legacy audio content, making immersive audio now an everyday occurrence in home cinema,” adds VP Home Entertainment & Luxury Audio Product Division Yves Trélohan. The demonstration will feature a variety of Auro-3D and Dolby Atmos content, including music pieces and movie content, all of which will envelop the audience in a cocoon of sound, providing a thrilling life-like sensation.

“For the most cost-conscious jobs, installers can confidently spec PRIMAL as the lowest-priced line of category and speaker cables on the residential market that still meet stringent UL, ETL and NEC safety standards,” says ICE Cable Systems president Brian Rizzo Los Angeles, CA – January 15, 2016 – ICE Cable Systems – the brand known for its premium yet aggressively-priced wire and cable products, will tap ISE 2016 (stand 2-E40) for the international launch of its PRIMAL bulk wire series. According to ICE president Brian Rizzo, PRIMAL is the most affordable category and speaker cable on the market today that complies with important safety regulations. During the development of PRIMAL, ICE Cable Systems did its homework. The line consists of the most price-sensitive SKUs: Cat 5, Cat 6, and 16-gauge and 14-gauge speaker cables. All are offered in a pull-box that incorporates reinforced handles and a water resistant laminate similar to those found in the company’s acclaimed Big Mouth Payout Box (BMP). To keep wire-pulls free of knots, kinks and tangles, the PRIMAL box (like BMP) utilizes REELEX® coil and payout technology. “PRIMAL offers many of the convenience features and safety aspects of the ICE line,” says Rizzo. “In compliance with UL, ETL and NEC standards, we’re using flame-tested jackets and full copper wire as opposed to non-certified compounds and copper-clad aluminum (CCA) so commonly found in entry-level offerings. The benefit here (with PRIMAL) is offering product at this price-level while including REELEX technology and safety compliance.” The full line of PRIMAL is now available and shipping. The category cables are available in 1,000 feet runs and in multiple color options. The speaker cable is available in runs of 500 and 1,000 feet (depending on gauge) in white.
