Portland, OR – February 15, 2017 – Triad Speakers, Inc., the Ore.-based custom manufacturer of residential home theater and distributed audio loudspeakers, today announced the return of long-time employee David Bailey. From 1997 to 2011 David had functioned as both Inside Sales Coordinator and Western Regional Sales Manager for the company. David departed in 2011 to pursue other career avenues, one of which included a 4.5-year inside sales stint with Underwriter’s Laboratories Energy and Power Technologies division. In January of this year David rejoined Triad, resuming his position of Inside Sales Coordinator. In this role, he will be collaborating with sales, marketing, production, and administration on many levels, including order-entry, phone support, specifying products for projects, customer service and now social media. “David has tremendous working knowledge of our designs and all aspects of our unique lean manufacturing process. He was also a part of our company culture for such a long time. His return is great news for us and our dealer network,” says Triad Speakers Director of North American Sales Bruce Franklin. “I certainly saw tremendous growth during my 14-year stay with Triad,” said Bailey. “When I started in 1997, our product mix consisted of only several LCRs, Surrounds, Subs and Satellites. Today the line has grown to more than 100 solutions and we work really hard to help dealers pull-off great installations.”

Portland, OR -- February 13, 2017 -- At the ISE show in Amsterdam last week, Triad Speakers previewed several new soundbar, on-wall and in-wall loudspeaker designs. The two links below access videos of Triad Speakers sales and training director Steve Colburn previewing the line, as well as discussing the immersive audio theater they built to demonstrate Auro3D, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X with demo partner StormAudio. According to Colburn, their ISE immersive audio demo was widely popular. "The show has been a tremendous success," said Colburn. "With lines out the door for most of the show, we demonstrated to a head count of around 760, about 50% more than last year. We heard from numerous sources that there was tremendous buzz about our demo which we shared with StormAudio."
