CEDIA Increases Training Offerings with Additional Full Day of Courses at CEDIA 2016 Training available five days, Tuesday-Saturday INDIANAPOLIS (March 22, 2016) - CEDIA has announced that it will significantly expand education offerings at CEDIA 2016 by adding a fourth day to the training schedule. Courses will now be available starting on Tuesday, September 12 and run through Saturday. The show floor will keep the traditional schedule and will open on Thursday, September 15. "We recognize that our attendees have packed schedules while at the show. They're looking to make the most of their time and that can mean scheduling down to the minute," said Luke Amos, CEDIA Director of Online Learning. "Our goal in expanding the schedule is to make it easier for attendees to spend time in the classroom by offering of two full days of education and training before the show floor even opens." Tuesday training will include some highly sought-after half-day and full-day workshops such as HAA-THX Home Theater Advisor Certification, Video Calibration Level I, Home Cinema for Designers, Rack Building & Wiring Fundamentals, and the CEDIA COI Train the Trainer course. In addition to offering Tuesday training, CEDIA is offering at total of 43 new courses and has expanded business course offerings based on attendee and member feedback. "CEDIA education and training programs have set the standard for equipping home technology professionals with the tools and resources they need to deliver the best possible experience to their clients. To deliver superb Dolby Atmos sound effects in rooms where use of in-ceiling speakers is not an option, Triad has created two Dolby Atmos enabled height modules for its InRoom LCRs. The modules are ideal for new Dolby Atmos home theater installations as well as retrofit upgrades of existing surround systems, and can also be used with other brandís loudspeakers. The modules are available in Triadís Bronze and Silver series levels of performance. Portland, OR ó February 22, 2016 ó Custom made-in-the-USA manufacturer Triad Speakers, Inc. today announced the expansion of its Dolby Atmosģ loudspeaker offerings to include Dolby Atmos enabled height modules in its Bronze and Silver series. Used in conjunction with LCRs to achieve the full effects of Dolby Atmos, the moduleís function is to direct overhead effects towards the ceiling, which is reflected towards the listener. While ideally mated with matching Triad LCRs, the modules can be used with other front channel speakers. MSRP is $500 and $600 per module, respectively. With Dolby Atmos, sound comes alive from all directions, including overhead, to fill the home theater with astonishing clarity, power, detail, and depth. To achieve the immersive moving audio experience of Dolby Atmos without using separate in-ceiling speakers to capture overhead effects, required is either in-room main channel LCR speakers with integrated height channels (i.e. Triadís InRoom Bronze or Silver LR-H speakers) or Dolby Atmos enabled height modules used in concert with LCRs. Each Triad module consists of an upward firing top array optimized to bounce sound effects off the ceiling: the Bronze is comprised of four 2-inch drivers; the Silver incorporates four 3-inch drivers. Each module aesthetically complements its InRoom Bronze or Silver LCR counterpart.
