add channels on a Motorola cable box

    Hey all,
Does anyone know how I can enable a Motorola (Starcaster, I think) cable box to tune to other channels in order to receive a modulated CCTV signal. I usually modulate to ch 117 or so with a Netmedia modulator, but this clients cable box cannot be tuned above ch 75 and there is no user setup to add/remove channels. The local cable provider says there is nothing that can be done, but the manager is a known technology dinosaur. I know can high pass filter, but I would really like to figure this box out.
    thanks

    Good luck,

I've never found a way to tune modulated channels through a cable box.

If you find out how to do it let us all know.

For 16 digits and an expiration date there isn't anything I can't do.

I called the local cable company about this a few years ago, they told me if they added the channel I needed to the box everyone in town would get the same channel added...just no camera picture for everyone else...and the price was in the tens of thousands to add it as it was a programming thing by the cable company.

We used a channel plus C-BCK kit http://www.channelplus.com/product_d...p?productId=53

and then changed tv from ch3 to 80 where the camera was
