Ok, our ZD1100 seems to be down and the 3 x 7363 connected to it are useless for the moment. We have a total of 8 Ruckus AP usually on the system but we have sold the other ones for some urgent projects. We have also temporarily removed our SMNP server so I am not sure when this happened. Controller has been working for around 3 years or so with no problems what so ever. It is on both UPS and Surge protection.
So how to repair this:
1) First observations are that I cannot access the web UI and I have seen the status lamb blinking amber a few times.The controller cannot be pinged
2) So do I just reset from the front the unit and hope for the unit to come back to life? What is the reset procedure?
3) Anything else I can do?
P.S. I have replaced the 3 x 7363 with Xclaim X-1 but honestly I need a back a Ruckus performance solution. Unleashed is the answer if I will see improvements with the R500/600 APs but the only think missing from the solution is cloud management. We can discuss this later![]()
