Cedia, IP Party and Booth Babes

So Greg called about the IP party yesterday, at the same time my wife asked about talent at the show for our booth. Last year we hired some regular temp talent and while they worked out fine they weren't a draw. This year she decided to hire babes. After much research on her part she sent over some of the applicant pictures and asked my opinion.
This was a trick question, never give input on paying for beautiful women to work for you even if your wife is asking. She sent over the pictures and wanted to know which ones I thought would be best. I laughed and said pick two blondes that look like twins and left it at that. A fool might have made any number of comments that would have come back to haunt him over and over.

BTW, I will invite the talent to the IP party so long as they don't want to get paid to attend. We have been buried in our new release for the last few months preparing for CEDIA, I think you'll like the latest version.

It's quite noticeable that there are NO blonds on the option list....

There were lots of choices, these were four to a page rather than all the single photos they sent us. Here is page two of the selections. We had about two dozen to pick from.

I am saving the choices for the show, you'll have to come by the booth to see the "twins".

So after seeing the photos yesterday I called Mark to give him my vote. Instead of Mark Susan answers the phone, I tell her that I would like to cast my vote for their Booth Babe.
Her reply... What?!?
Followed shortly by.... He Did What?!?

Besides, with Susan in the booth why would you need another booth babe?

Having poked a bit at Mark I do have to say that in all of the years of doing shows Susan is one of the nicest, politest and most easy going person that I have met or worked with (and you know being married to someone as intense as Mark can't be easy) and see reminds me a lot of Katy Hepburn.

Good on you Mark.

Brent, if Susan is Hepburn, does that make me Tracy? Rarely in life do two people match so well, Susan is a driving force in our business and as you say, a class act. And while she is still the most attractive woman I have ever known (yes I am biased), I think she has risen above babe status, much like Hepburn.
After hours is always tough with show models since they do have a life other than men staring at them. I will see if we can't at least have them make an appearance at the party, though it may cost me a few extra shillings, anything for the cause.
Pat, all I ask is that you not actually drool on the young ladies if they in fact attend our party. Drooling OK, drooling on them not OK, I have so few rules.

While all the girls look great, I would rather go to the local colleges and hand out invites to work the show. Most College kids could really use the money.What I am really getting at is Can I be a pair recruiter?
