    ETA on Panasonic Blu-ray players?

Fred @ Capital (or anyone else who may happen to know...)

Anyone have an ETA on these? Why is it that CC and BB have them in stock, and my AVAD (insert AVAD jokes here) hasn't had them in MONTHS???

I need to get my hands on some Blu-ray players that aren't $1k or more. Customers are going somewhere else, and I just can't handle it anymore.

    Info, please!

    Thanks,

    Fred

I bought two Samsung 1400's from Amazon yesterday to fulfill two jobs.

LG just lowered prices on their combo player down to $650 list, $599 MAP. We will start using them again.

I've installed a couple of these.

One seems to stop playing discs at random.

Another won't play the client's home made photo DVD to the end.

Random and probably not of much consequence.

Do you guys just put them in service and not worry, or do you look for firmware upgrades and do that before installing them?

I'm trying to figure out how much to scare my clients who ask for BluRay.
